Route Introduction

Starting at Ma On Shan Country Park Management Centre and walking along the Ma On Shan Country Trail to the viewing point at Ngong Ping Campsite，where is one of Hong Kong’s handful plateau（about 400 meters high）. Then, walking downhill via Mau Ping to Chevalier Garden.  This route comprises an uphill section and a downhill section with easy footpaths and vehicular access.

Starting Point：Ma On Shan Country Park Management Centre

Finishing Point：Chevalier Garden, Tai Shui Hang

Length：about 8.5 km

Transportation

Take No.40X or No.43X bus to Yiu On Estate in Ma On Shan. Then walk upslope along Ma On Shan Tsuen Road next to the Ma On Shan Road Roundabout for about 45 minutes.
