Hiking x Eco Clean Up Day

Event Introduction

The 4th CMHK Hong Kong Hiking Festival will be launched under the theme “Environmental Protection”, which aims not only to encourage the public to participate in hiking but also to promote the Love of Nature message – “Protect Countryside, Conservation Walk & Take Your Litter Home”. MyLink “Hiking x Eco Clean Up Day” will also be launched to encourage citizens to “Take Your Litter Home”, “Protect Countryside” and “Walk for Health.”

MyLink “Hiking x Eco Clean Up Day” will be held from 5 – 13 June 2021. Participants who complete both of the two missions within the designated period will earn 1,000 MyLink Points.

Result Announcement Date: 25 June 2021 (12:00 noon)
Prize: 1,000 MyLink Points (for the first 50,000 winners, on a first-come-first-serve basis)

Mission 1:

Check-in at designated spots^#. Eligible Participants who do not complete check-ins at the designated spot within the designated period will be denied to Mission 2.

Mission Period of the designated check-in spots :
For Selected MyLink users: 00:00 on 5 June to 23:59 on 6 June 2021 (Phase 1)
For all MyLink users : 00:00 on 12 June to 23:59 on 13 June 2021 (Phase 2)

During the event period, eligible participants need to:

Eligible Participants must check in at the designated check-in spots^#. To check-in, Eligible Participants need to log in to MyLink and select “Check-in Now”. The mission is completed when “Check-in Completed” shows on the MyLink page.

Mission 2 :

After completing the check-in task (Mission 1) during the event period at the designated route, upload one photo showing participants cleaning litter* at the outdoor area on or before 23:59 on 13 June.
(Must have completed Mission 1 at designated spot first)

Mission period：00:00 on 5 Jun 2021 – 23:59 on 13 June 2021

Participants who have finished all of the above two missions will be treated as “Mission Completed”, and results will be announced on 25 June 2021 (12:00 noon)

* Photo submissions for the litter collection category can include (but are not limited to):

Paper and Cardboard	White paper, Mixed Paper, Newspaper, Kraft Paper, Packaging Boxes
Metal	Iron cans, aluminum cans, canned food, milk powder cans, moon cake boxes
Plastic	Plastic bottles, bottle caps, plastic containers, plastic bags, plastic packaging
Glass	Glass containers, utensils
