Introduction to Routing

Start at Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park and proceed towards Stanley Gap Road. Built in 1989, Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park was the first water park in Hong Kong, which has now been converted to a reservoir park. Continue on via Tai Tam Country Trail in the midway, then ascend to the peak of Violet Hill, where you can see the Chinese Bell Flowers, which bloom on the slopes every year from late January to early February. Then walk downhill along the winding steps and enjoy the mesmerizing scenery of Repulse Bay Beach area from a distance. Upon arrival at Tze Kong Bridge, follow the road signs of Stanley Gap Road and proceed onward, then start climbing the steep The Twins along the stone steps. Finally, descend slowly downhill on Stanley Gap Road to the end point of the route at Stanley Gap Road Bus Stop.

Can also take Green Minibus No. 5 at the junction of Jaffe Road and King Lung Street near MTR Causeway Bay Station SOGO Exit to arrive the starting point.
